Our Little Story

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you all to Dayspring Schools. Dayspring Child Care Schools Ibadan is a well-established School located at #001 Orange Peace Garden, Unity Estate, Elebu-Akuru, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. The School is approved by the Oyo State Ministry of Education.

Dayspring Child Care started in March 2007 with a male child in the crèche named Champion Jones and by the month of September of the same year, the Nursery school kicked off with a girl child named Greatness Adeleye who happens to be the pioneer pupil and the first head girl of this citadel of learning. The total number of children recorded at the end of the year 2007 was Twelve.

The school moved from one level of glory to another with the help of God, Support and cooperation received from our pioneer parents and dedication to duty on the part of our staff.

Dayspring School is matching on and the gate of hell shall not prevail. Today the school owns a fully equipped modern computer Lab and a School Van for the use of our students.

We believe it is our responsibility as educators to be spiritually mature, Professionally trained, and highly motivated to prepare our students for their God-ordained destiny.

We partner with our parents to reinforce the family values that develop men and women of integrity who will be future leaders.

Dayspring School operates a blend of the Montessori curriculum and the Nigerian curriculum. We favour a practical approach to teaching behaviour and manners. But at the same time, we like to foster a happy, caring family atmosphere where the triangle partnership of parents, students and teachers is encouraged. The result is happy, confident, self-motivated children who always go on to do very well in their future schools.

Boys and girls entering Dayspring School will grow up together in a school which sets both high academic, behavioural and personal standards in a friendly and happy learning environment.

I joined DCC April 2014 precisely to register two of my children and to the Glory of God, my first child graduated from the school 3 yrs ago now in Jss3 doing wonderfully well as a result of good standard obtained from DCC which still keep him going on well and the little sister now in grade 3.

I love this school for the well-qualified teachers who are strongly committed to their students.

Well organized classrooms with few numbers of students not over populated which makes teaching easy for the teachers and learning for students as they have personal relationship with their teachers.
